Electrician

We have a beautiful home at first glance but the infrastructure needs improvement. The fix-it guy that owned it previously did the work himself.  As a result, the electrical system is a series of extension cords, bare wires, and crazy connections from one electrical outlet to the next.  Our electrician laughed as we showed him one electrical mess after another.  He and his crew have spent all week at the house working on the electrical system.

He has reconfigured all the air conditioners so that they are powered correctly, have emergency on/off switches and installed water proof electrical connections.

He reworked the area where the electrical services enter the house since that was not done correctly. We had an outlet installed in our storage area so we could put our freezer closer to our kitchen.

This is what it looked like before the electrician worked on it. It's amazing that we didn't burn the house down or something didn't blow up. We are feeling safer now that a professional has corrected the issues.

We don't think there is an electrical code on the island.  We do know that exposed wires and extension cords are not appropriate for 220 power. So we fixed it.

The previous owner took out all the ceiling fans and lights and left a hole with wires.  We had the electrician install light fixtures in all the bedrooms where only bare wires were left.  I now have a light above the sink where a dark hole had existed.
